So tell me... is one of your company's key goals to be "more innovative" or, "to invest in creating valuable new products and services" or, "new product innovation"? If so, then you have bought into the right language, certainly. The experience I have, and the problem most companies have is that they rarely know how to "do" innovation. The good news (SURPRISE!) is that most of the "creative juice" you need is available via your own people, your own customers and former customers, and your desired set of customers. You just need help in getting the information and ideas out of people.
